Quantity Surveyor – Construction Cost Management

About the role

Yoma Land is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support its diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and hotel projects. The role involves providing cost‑control expertise across architectural, structural and external works for internal and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost plans, Bills of Quantities and price comparisons from early design information.
• Mentor junior QS staff to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
• Assist in procurement activities, including RFPs, scopes of work, tender evaluation and contract negotiation.
• Administer contracts, assess interim payment applications, manage variations and prepare final accounts.
• Produce monthly cost reports and support proactive cost‑control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain a cost database by sourcing quotations from domestic and international suppliers and contractors.
• Update contract and job information on the company’s shared drive.
• Compile market cost data analysis for material pricing.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in quantity surveying or a similar role.
• Preferably worked on development projects or within client‑consultant firms.
• Tertiary‑level qualification beneficial.

Required skills

• Understanding of FIDIC contracts and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of site works, pre‑contract and post‑contract processes.
• Familiarity with RICS Rules of Measurement (beneficial).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Strong written English skills.
