Quality Control Inspector – Bags (Full‑time, Yangon)

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector – All Bags Item will work full‑time on‑site in Yangon, Myanmar, ensuring that all bag products—including backpacks, handbags, diaper bags and related items—meet A.D. Sutton & Sons’ quality standards and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual and functional inspections of finished bag products.
• Verify measurements, materials, stitching, trims and overall workmanship.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse and quality‑assurance teams to identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Support internal audits, quality reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety, compliance and company procedures during inspection activities.

Required profile

• Strong experience in quality control and inspection of finished goods, especially bags or soft goods.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with multiple teams.
• High attention to detail and ability to recognise defects.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, textiles, bags or related consumer goods is advantageous.
• Physical ability to stand, lift and perform repetitive inspection tasks.
• College diploma or equivalent; English speaking and writing proficiency.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for recording inspection data and using quality tracking systems.
