About the role
The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing suppliers and managing the procurement process to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. This role involves coordinating with internal departments and external vendors to meet purchasing requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Source suppliers and obtain quotations for required goods and services.
- Compare prices, quality, and delivery terms from different suppliers.
- Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) for approval.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Verify invoices, receipts, and other procurement documents.
- Maintain proper purchasing records and supplier information.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to fulfill purchasing requirements.
