Project Manager – Women’s R.E.A.C.H. Project (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Women’s R.E.A.C.H. Project in Yangon, Myanmar. The role is a fixed‑term appointment focused on increasing resilience and economic opportunities for GBV survivors and other at‑risk women.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of the REACH Project workplan and partner activities.
• Coordinate with the Country Office, Regional Office, UN Women Headquarters, donors, civil‑society organisations and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
• Manage project budgets, reporting and compliance with UN Women policies and donor requirements.
• Oversee the strengthening of women’s rights organisations and networks to act as change agents.
• Facilitate gender‑transformative social‑norm change and the collection of gender‑disaggregated data.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in managing development or humanitarian projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Strong planning, monitoring and reporting skills.
