Project Manager – Women’s R.E.A.C.H. Project (Fixed-Term)

About the role

UN Women is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Women’s R.E.A.C.H. Project in Yangon. The role focuses on strengthening the resilience of GBV survivors and other at‑risk women through integrated livelihood and gender‑based violence prevention interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of the REACH Project’s annual workplan.
• Coordinate with the Country Office, Regional Office, UN Women HQ, donors and civil‑society partners to ensure effective delivery of project activities.
• Oversee the development of evidence‑based livelihood opportunities and GBV prevention services for vulnerable women.
• Strengthen the capacity and leadership of women’s rights organisations to act as change agents.
• Manage project reporting, budgeting and compliance with UN Women policies and donor requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in International Development, Gender Studies, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Proven experience managing development or humanitarian projects, preferably in gender equality or GBV contexts.
• Strong understanding of gender‑transformative approaches and evidence‑based programming.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
