Project Manager – RISE Project

About the role

World Vision is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of the RISE Project in Myanmar. You will oversee multi‑sector field activities, ensure delivery of targets, and support vulnerable children and communities in challenging environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of project activities within assigned township and ensure delivery of planned outputs, outcomes, and targets.
• Supervise Field Officers, Logistic Officer, and Field Accountant, providing performance management, coaching, and capacity‑building.
• Manage relationships with local authorities and communities, facilitate coordination meetings, and represent the project in township‑level forums.
• Develop monthly and quarterly work plans, monitor progress against targets, and ensure quality documentation and reporting.
• Oversee project assets, coordinate logistics and procurement, and monitor field expenditures and budget utilization.
• Monitor contextual and operational risks, ensure compliance with World Vision policies and donor requirements, and implement security and duty‑of‑care measures.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in project or program implementation, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
• Proven experience managing field‑based projects in conflict‑affected, fragile, or emergency contexts.
• Experience supervising field teams and coordinating multi‑sector interventions.
• Bachelor’s degree in international development, management, social sciences, public health, agriculture, disaster management, community development, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of humanitarian principles, Sphere Standards, and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP).
