Programme Analyst – Humanitarian Projects (Yangon)

About the role

The Programme Analyst will support UN Women’s humanitarian initiatives funded by the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) in Myanmar. Reporting to the Humanitarian Programme Specialist, the role involves designing, implementing and monitoring projects that provide emergency livelihood support, GBV prevention and response, and long‑term resilience building for crisis‑affected populations.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical design of humanitarian project strategies and proposals.
• Lead the coordination of calls for proposals, including organizing technical review committees and assessing partner capacity.
• Monitor and review financial and narrative reports from implementing partners.
• Provide training and capacity development to partners on Results‑Based Management and project implementation.
• Support the preparation of annual work plans, budgets and monitoring reports in line with CERF requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in humanitarian programme design, implementation or monitoring.
• Strong understanding of gender‑based violence prevention and response in crisis settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively with programme and operations teams and external partners.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

• Results‑Based Management (RBM) methodology.
