Production Manager – Food & Beverage Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Manager will lead daily manufacturing activities for a dairy‑based product line, ensuring that production targets are met safely and efficiently. This role oversees the full process from milk reconstitution through to packaging, driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the complete manufacturing workflow, including evaporation, concentration, crystallisation, canning and packaging.
• Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), productivity, yield optimisation and waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, HACCP, GMP and all regulatory requirements.
• Oversee Cleaning‑in‑Place (CIP) programmes and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions and monitor production KPIs.
• Develop, coach and motivate production teams to foster a culture of accountability, quality and safety.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of manufacturing experience in FMCG Food & Beverage, with at least 3 years in a Production Manager role.
• Hands‑on experience in dairy, condensed milk or evaporated milk production.
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems, GMP, HACCP and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Proven leadership, problem‑solving and team‑management capabilities.
