Procurement Executive

About the role

The Procurement Executive will support end‑to‑end purchasing activities for RMA Myanmar, ensuring timely, cost‑effective and compliant sourcing of goods and services. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with internal teams and external suppliers to meet operational needs while upholding quality and policy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes in line with company procedures, collect RFQs, prepare bid comparisons and raise purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, documentation and delivery commitments; conduct evaluations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Monitor stock levels, anticipate shortages, and work with Supply/Logistics to ensure on‑time deliveries and resolve urgent gaps.
• Prepare cost comparison sheets, track market price changes and maintain procurement reports, savings tracker and supplier performance records.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policy and sanction‑screening protocols; maintain audit‑ready documentation and flag high‑risk issues.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain teams to provide technical clarification, product sampling and urgent support.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cost, shorten lead times and optimise the supplier base.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Management or Supply Chain.
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience, including engineering parts, generator spare parts and automotive spare parts.
• Strong knowledge of the full procurement cycle: PR review, RFQ collection, bid comparison, negotiation, PO issuance, delivery follow‑up and invoice processing.
• Hands‑on experience in the automotive industry with familiarity of component specifications, quality standards and market pricing.
• Comprehensive understanding of compliance protocols such as sanction screening, supplier document verification and ethical sourcing.
