Plant Manager – FMCG Manufacturing (Myanmar)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Leader to take full responsibility for a high‑care food and beverage manufacturing complex in Myanmar. The role oversees multi‑line production, ensuring throughput, product integrity and site EBITDA optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead factory operations to meet master production schedules while controlling unit conversion costs across multi‑shift, high‑volume lines.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale metrics through TPM and RCM loss‑elimination initiatives.
• Own continuous improvement programs, applying Lean Six Sigma tools such as 5S, Kaizen, SMED and Value Stream Mapping.
• Manage food safety systems, dairy hygiene protocols and HACCP compliance; ensure successful GFSI audits (BRC, FSSC 22000).
• Direct preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize asset availability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement and planning within the S&OP process to balance material requirements and inventory flow.
• Foster a zero‑harm safety culture, develop talent and oversee EHS governance.
• Control OPEX budgets and CAPEX projects for automation and capacity expansion, tracking costs in ERP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field; MBA or Master’s in Engineering Management is a plus.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive FMCG or Food & Beverage operations experience, including at least 5 years as Plant/Factory Manager.
• Proven track record of improving OEE, leading Lean/TPM transformations and managing P&L targets.
