Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

About the role

The Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation (M/E) supports better performance and accountability by implementing evidence‑based program management at field level. The role provides technical support for designing methodologies, tools and data systems, and builds capacity across the mission and the wider humanitarian community.

Key responsibilities

• Mainstream IMC Global M/E Guidelines, adapt tools and templates throughout the project cycle.
• Design and coordinate needs assessments, results frameworks, theory of change, logframes and M/E plans.
• Establish participatory M/E frameworks, develop data collection tools and reporting flows, and oversee data quality across health, nutrition, WASH, MHPSS, VAWG and FLS sectors.
• Implement and manage DHIS2 and Satellite‑based Tracking and Remote Monitoring (STARM) systems, including data entry, troubleshooting and reporting.
• Lead data quality audits, sampling design, and both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
• Support mobile data collection set‑up (Kobo, Ona, CommCare) and conduct statistical analysis using appropriate software.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation within humanitarian or health programmes.
• Strong knowledge of M/E standards, donor reporting requirements and ethical data practices.
• Ability to design and manage budgets for M/E activities and to represent the organization in working groups.
