Medical Representative – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role
The Medical Representative will drive sales of the company’s pharmaceutical brands within an assigned territory. By building strong relationships with doctors, chemists and stockists, the role aims to increase prescriptions and achieve business targets.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets through brand marketing, market studies and appropriate product placement.
- Promote products using scientific tools, publications, demonstrations and reminder cards.
- Maintain product availability, monitor stock, returns and expiry at stockists.
- Collect competitor information and ensure billing from stockists.
- Maintain daily call reports, call planners and travel plans.
- Provide academic services to doctors and monitor return on investment of promotional activities.
Required profile
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry; oncology experience is a plus.
- Confident body language and strong communication skills.
