M&E Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Operations Manager to oversee daily building facilities across multiple sites, ensuring that electrical, water, HVAC and other systems operate reliably. The role supports the FM Coordinator and collaborates closely with vendors and service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical facilities across all sites.
• Prepare duty rosters and weekly maintenance schedules to allocate tasks efficiently.
• Oversee M&E operations and ensure team members are trained on procedures.
• Schedule and monitor air‑conditioning service and maintenance by the in‑house team.
• Perform routine checks and implement preventive maintenance for plumbing systems.
• Inspect distribution boards, sockets and verify electrical safety.
• Inspect fire‑fighting equipment, including extinguishers, detectors, sprinklers and control panels.
• Monitor and operate generators, track performance and fuel usage.
• Assist in supervising and evaluating maintenance work performed by external contractors.
• Submit regular performance, issue and improvement reports to the FM Operation Manager.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of facility operations and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with service vendors.
• Good communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, email).
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E operation management.
• Graduated in Engineering.
