Marketing Senior Executive – Shipping & Trade

About the role

The Marketing Senior Executive bridges corporate brand strategy with commercial sales in the container shipping industry. The role equips regional and trade‑lane teams with targeted promotional toolkits, analyses trade routes, and drives B2B customer‑retention campaigns to boost volume and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Sales Enablement: create trade‑lane highlights, vessel service announcements, yield‑management notifications and custom presentations for key account engagements.
• Market Intelligence & Analytics: analyse freight market trends, volume fluctuations, competitor rates and capacity utilisation to deliver actionable commercial insights.
• Integration: connect CRM with automated campaign workflows, maintain data integrity and track conversion metrics in collaboration with Sales and Sales Support.
• Brand Compliance: review local, regional and corporate collateral to ensure strict alignment with brand guidelines.
• Trade‑related Digital Service: plan and execute trade services, shipping routes and digital features (e‑comm, ONE Quote, etc.) to support long‑term digital initiatives.

Required profile

• Domain knowledge of container shipping networks, trade‑lane pricing structures and maritime logistics terminology.
• 2–3 years of commercial marketing experience in container liner shipping or global freight forwarding.
• Proficiency with CRM and presentation tools, marketing planning, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and GWS.
• Ability to transform raw shipping volumes, booking statistics and market data into executive‑level visual insights.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
