Marketing Manager (Medical Product)

About the role

Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to drive sales growth and achieve company sales goals. Manage the marketing team across assigned territories, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure consistent performance and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to achieve sales growth and company targets.
• Lead, coach and mentor the marketing team, setting sales targets and monitoring performance.
• Supervise daily routines of marketing staff, ensuring effective planning and productivity.
• Monitor inventory levels, sales forecasts and product demand to avoid stockouts and lost sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain sustainable relationships with customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through sales representatives.
• Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, industry events and customer meetings to strengthen relationships.
• Collaborate with digital marketing teams to create promotional strategies, campaigns and increase brand awareness.
• Plan and execute promotional events, CME activities and KOL relationship‑building initiatives.
• Analyse sales data, market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and provide regular market feedback to management.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth product delivery and high‑quality customer support.

Required profile

• MBA or Diploma in Marketing Management (preferred); a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS) is a plus.
• Proven experience in doctor promotion, territory and hospital management.
• Expertise in Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationship management and CME/event planning.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage marketing teams and people.
• Strong understanding of market and competitor analysis.
