About the role
Thura Swiss, a leading market research and consulting firm in Myanmar, is seeking a Market Research Analyst to turn raw research data into clear, visual insights for clients. The analyst will work within the Research and Consulting Department, supporting projects from data collection to final reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and manage data collection tools on the designated platform.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of collected data.
- Conduct quality control and ensure data integrity.
- Prepare client‑facing reports and deliverables with visual presentations.
- Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate with business development to design technology‑driven consumer insight products.
- Identify and suggest improvements to research processes and tools.
Required profile
- University degree or postgraduate qualification in business, management, data science, statistics or a related field.
- Previous experience in market research or a similar analytical role is preferred.
- Strong command of English and native Burmese language skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, travel within Myanmar for field projects, and deliver results independently and as part of a team.
Required skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Statistical software such as SPSS, Stata, R or Python.
- Database and data‑processing tools including SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
