Managing Director – Seafood Processing

About the role

The Managing Director will lead the overall business operations of a leading seafood processing company, overseeing P&L performance, operational efficiency, product quality, cost control, supply chain continuity, and workforce management. The role is pivotal in driving performance, strengthening operational discipline, and ensuring sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the company’s overall business operations and P&L performance.
• Oversee operational efficiency, product quality, cost control and supply chain continuity.
• Manage upstream raw material sourcing by building relationships with local fishermen and stakeholders.
• Optimize resources and improve operational performance across production and other functions.
• Ensure long‑term competitiveness and success of the organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years’ experience in operations or manufacturing leadership, preferably in food processing, marine products, aquaculture or agri‑commodities.
• Proven experience managing large, labour‑intensive operations with several hundred employees.
• Strong exposure to raw‑material‑driven manufacturing environments with supply variability.
• Prior experience in emerging markets or complex operating environments is strongly preferred.
• Advanced English language proficiency and willingness to be based in Myeik, Myanmar.
