About the role
The Logistics Officer will support the RISE Project by linking the supply chain between area programmes and the national office. This role ensures that goods move efficiently through logistic pathways, from receipt to delivery, while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and track movement of goods for all items ordered across programmes.
- Receive daily deliveries, verify condition and completeness, and record receipts.
- Ensure timely shipment of materials to area programmes and collect Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
- Maintain and supervise inventory, conducting bi‑annual asset counts and regular stock reconciliations.
- Prepare and update waybill IN/OUT processes, weekly stock checks, and monthly delivery summaries.
- Support procurement by sourcing and pre‑qualifying transporters and workshop suppliers.
- Collect and settle bills promptly and provide equipment movement reports.
- Perform additional duties proactively as required.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in supply chain or logistics management.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in humanitarian or development contexts is desirable.
- Ability to work in fragile or conflict‑affected environments.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Working knowledge of a Supply Chain Management system.
