Project Manager – Humanitarian Procurement Initiative

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the day‑to‑day implementation of the Global Humanitarian Procurement Collaboration and Performance Initiative, reporting to the co‑lead Steering Committee and coordinating delivery of four key results across WFP, Hulo, NRC and around 30 participating organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish overall project coordination, maintain implementation calendar, deliverable register, risk register and budget tracker.
• Coordinate and report to the WFP‑Hulo‑NRC Steering Committee, support escalation of material changes to the donor.
• Drive delivery of the Global Procurement Forum, including governance package and stakeholder validation.
• Manage development of procurement cooperation guidance, integration tools and board‑level KPI framework, overseeing experts and pilot organisations.
• Lead stakeholder engagement across HLGSC working groups, donor coordination and visibility activities.
• Consolidate monitoring, reporting and final implementation roadmap for DG ECHO and WFP requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in project management, supply chain/logistics, international development or related field.
• 7+ years experience in project or programme management, preferably donor‑funded (ECHO/UN) actions.
• Strong knowledge of humanitarian supply chain and procurement systems.
• Proven experience coordinating multi‑stakeholder consortia involving UN agencies and NGOs.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and consensus‑building skills.
• Fluent in English and French.
