Legal Intern

About the role

Join the Legal Department of CANAL+ Myanmar as a Legal Intern and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving media and entertainment environment. This six‑month paid internship offers exposure to legal research, compliance, and document management while supporting real projects that impact the business.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices.
• Prepare and distribute daily business and legal newsletter reports.
• Assist with compliance processes and administrative filings with authorities.
• Coordinate visits to governmental offices and external agencies as needed.
• Register, update, and maintain internal legal documents and databases.
• Support contract management by uploading and tracking documents in the system.
• Help create presentations, training materials, and other legal resources.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law or related field, or final‑year law student.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (verbal and written).
• Willingness to travel to governmental authorities when required.
• Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and collaborative spirit.
