About the role

As part of its development, the HVAC design department is looking for an experienced CVC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air‑Conditioning) engineer to join a team of 11 professionals in Vaulx‑en‑Velin, France. The role is based on site at the Carré de Soie office and reports to the CVC department manager while collaborating closely with project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and execution of heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, plumbing and related fluid systems.
• Produce calculations, specifications, quantity take‑offs, drawings, technical notes and principle schematics autonomously under project manager supervision.
• Perform mandatory regulatory thermal calculations.
• Carry out execution and synthesis studies for EXE missions when required.
• Support project managers during concept design, cost estimation, construction supervision, study validation and hand‑over phases.
• Monitor and control study time budgets.
• Supervise junior designers attached to projects.
• Contribute to the optimisation of work methods and quality processes.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in HVAC or building services.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fluid‑studies office, covering design to delivery of building projects.
• Ability to work independently on technical production.

What we offer

• Annual gross salary between 50 000 € and 65 000 €.
