Headshots Retoucher – Photo Editing Specialist

About the role

Headshots.com is looking for experienced retouchers to transform smartphone‑taken headshots into studio‑quality images. You will work remotely, applying consistent, natural enhancements to large batches of professional portraits while adhering to strict production standards.

Key responsibilities

• Retouch professional headshots from phone photos, preserving skin texture and achieving a realistic finish.
• Correct lighting, exposure, noise, and soft‑focus issues; reduce glasses glare while maintaining realism.
• Perform seamless background swaps and composites, ensuring consistency across large image batches.
• Deliver work on time, meet daily/weekly volume targets, and follow established non‑destructive workflows.

Required profile

• Expertise in natural skin retouching without a plastic look.
• Clean hair masking and edge work without halos.
• Strong color correction and exposure balancing, especially in mixed lighting.
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to maintain quality at scale.
• Strict adherence to non‑destructive editing using adjustment layers, masks, and smart objects.

Required skills

• Licensed Adobe Photoshop.
• Graphics tablet (Wacom, Huion, XP‑Pen or similar).
• Non‑destructive workflow proficiency (adjustment layers, layer masks, smart objects).
