Global Information Management Officer

About the role

The Global Information Management Officer will support HALO’s programmes across the Indo‑Pacific region by designing, developing and maintaining information management and GIS systems. Based in a HALO office in the region, the role involves frequent travel to field sites and collaboration with global and programme‑level IM teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define information requirements, data flows and quality assurance/quality control procedures.
• Develop and manage databases and ETL/ELT tools to ensure reliable data handling.
• Design, develop and test data collection forms using Esri ArcGIS technologies such as Survey123, as well as alternative platforms.
• Contribute to the creation of IM standard operating procedures, guidelines and best‑practice documentation.
• Provide technical support to programme teams, including remote assistance and on‑site visits.

Required profile

• Currently residing in one of HALO’s Indo‑Pacific regions.
• Willingness to travel frequently and attend meetings outside regular working hours.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close‑knit global specialist team.
