General Manager – Showroom & Branch Expansion

About the role

The General Manager will lead the automotive showroom and branch operations, driving business performance and overseeing the expansion of new locations. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role combines strategic planning, sales leadership, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall automotive business and monitor branch, showroom, sales, and operational performance.
• Develop and execute plans for new branch and showroom expansion, including site selection, budgeting, and implementation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, Parts, Finance, HR and other functions to ensure alignment with company strategy.
• Set and track sales targets, monitor market trends, and build relationships with key customers and partners.
• Prepare and control budgets, monitor revenue, costs and profitability, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Manage and develop branch and showroom teams, set KPIs, and foster a performance‑driven culture.
• Ensure high standards of customer service, brand presentation, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Report weekly/monthly performance, risks and recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Automotive Management, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
• 8‑10+ years of experience in automotive, dealership, showroom, retail or business operations, preferably in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing multi‑site operations and driving sales growth.
• Strong analytical, financial and people‑management capabilities.
