Functional Consultant – Hospital Management System (EMR)

About the role

We are looking for a Functional Consultant to join our team and help hospitals digitalise their operations through an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. You will act as the bridge between clinical staff, administrators and the development team, ensuring the solution meets real‑world workflow needs.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business and clinical requirements from doctors, nurses, pharmacists, finance and management teams.
• Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews and map existing processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, workflows and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, developers and QA to design and prioritise functional solutions.
• Support implementation projects from configuration and data migration to functional testing, UAT and go‑live stabilization.
• Create user guides, conduct system demonstrations and training sessions, and collect feedback for continuous product improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Healthcare Management, Health Informatics or a related field.
• Experience as a Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, Implementation Consultant or similar role.
• Strong requirement‑gathering, business‑process analysis and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, with fluency in written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working directly with both business users and software development teams.
