Fleet Manager – Lead Operations & Expansion

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to lead our fleet operations and support our strategic growth plan to expand the fleet to 200–300 trucks and trailers. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable fleet performance while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall fleet operations, including maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of trucks and trailers.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Monitor fleet utilization, fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and key performance indicators.
• Drive cost optimization, productivity improvement, and transportation efficiency.
• Develop fleet expansion strategies, annual plans, and operational budgets.
• Prepare management reports, performance analysis, and improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop fleet teams, including mechanics, drivers, and supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in fleet management, trucking, or transportation operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of trucks, trailers, and heavy vehicles.
• Experience in fleet planning, budgeting, and operational strategy development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
