Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the role

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes for a telecom and infrastructure focused organization. You will translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership and support strategic investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, long‑term forecasts and coordinate departmental submissions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports and dashboards covering revenue, gross profit, EBITDA, cash flow, CAPEX and OPEX.
• Conduct variance analysis, identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop rolling forecasts, scenario and sensitivity analyses to support business planning.
• Analyse financial performance of telecom and infrastructure projects, including revenue, cost, CAPEX, OPEX and profitability.
• Identify cost drivers, support product/service profitability analysis and propose margin‑improvement initiatives.
• Monitor budget utilisation, flag potential overruns and work with project teams to improve cost efficiency.
• Provide financial models and business cases for strategic planning and investment decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA preferred.
• 7‑10 years of experience in financial planning, management accounting or corporate finance.
• 3‑5 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Experience in telecommunications, technology, ISP or infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
