Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead and develop the finance team, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate, timely reporting. This role is pivotal for maintaining financial control, compliance, and supporting strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and develop the finance team to meet daily operational targets.
• Manage the full set of accounts, including month‑end closing, journal postings, balance‑sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly financial, management, and group reports, as well as cash‑flow forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis, monitor accruals and provisions, and ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate corporate and commercial tax matters, liaising with tax agents for filings.
• Oversee the external audit process, preparing schedules and acting as the main point of contact for auditors.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders (auditors, bankers, authorities) to ensure accurate reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and drive process improvements and internal controls.
• Assist with system implementations and ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
• 5–7 years of full‑set accounting experience, including supervisory or team‑lead responsibilities.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace.
• Experience with SAP (advantage).
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
