Assistant Manager, Corporate & Distribution Strategy

About the role

Prudential is seeking an Assistant Manager to support its Strategy & Transformation function in Myanmar. The role focuses on analysis, financial modelling, and coordination of distribution compensation, contests and campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial models for distribution compensation, sales contests and campaign proposals.
• Conduct scenario modelling, cost‑benefit analysis, sensitivity testing and impact assessments to support decision‑making.
• Track budgets, monitor performance against plan, identify variances and provide explanations.
• Coordinate inputs from Distribution, Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Compliance and Operations to ensure complete and accurate proposals.
• Prepare regular MIS dashboards and performance packs for management review.
• Support annual strategic and business planning cycles through data collection, analysis and presentation preparation.
• Assist in transformation initiatives by gathering inputs, analysing processes and preparing recommendation materials.
• Track project plans, milestones, risks and actions, and produce progress reports for senior management.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in insurance, banking, finance, strategy, consulting or a Big 4 advisory environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Progress toward professional qualifications such as ACCA, CFA or actuarial exams is an advantage.
