Field Officer – Pool PNS Project

About the role

World Vision is seeking a dedicated Field Officer to support the Pool PNS Project in Myanmar. You will work directly with communities, volunteers, and project teams to deliver protection, WASH, and monitoring activities that improve the lives of vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and follow a work plan aligned with project strategic priorities.
• Implement project activities in targeted areas under supervisor guidance.
• Select, train, and supervise community‑based volunteers to raise awareness and provide MHPSS.
• Conduct field monitoring, ensure timely reporting, and maintain accountability.
• Collect and collate activity data in collaboration with M&E officers and volunteers.
• Submit regular implementation reports and respond to community feedback and complaints.
• Participate in personal and professional development planning with the manager.
• Carry out additional duties proactively and responsibly.

Required profile

• At least a bachelor’s degree (higher degree preferred).
• Extensive experience in training, presenting, and facilitating protection or child‑related issues.
• Previous experience working in an NGO environment is preferred.
• Good command of English; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in emergency response and regular field visits.
• Knowledge of International HEA Standards (e.g., CHS) and temporary learning spaces.
• Team‑player with strong cooperation skills.
• Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel in both English and Myanmar.
