Executive Technician – Hardware

About the role

The Executive Technician – Hardware ensures that all office equipment used by the bank operates reliably and with minimal downtime. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair a range of devices, providing on‑site and remote support to staff across multiple branches.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and test new office machines such as printers, copiers, scanners and specialised counting devices.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions and replace defective parts.
• Resolve technical issues including paper jams, connectivity problems and software errors.
• Assist end‑users with equipment operation and deliver basic training.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools and consumables.
• Carry out scheduled preventive‑maintenance visits to bank branches.
• Keep detailed service records of calls, repairs and maintenance activities.
• Liaise with manufacturers or suppliers for advanced repairs or warranty claims.

Required profile

• Graduate degree preferred (B.E, B.Tech, AGTI) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of counting machines, counterfeit‑bill detectors, printers, copiers, fax machines and scanners.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, computers and networking.
• Willingness and ability to travel to branch locations as needed.
