ERP Functional Consultant (Odoo)

About the role

We are looking for an ERP Functional Consultant specialized in Odoo to work closely with customers and internal teams. The consultant will analyse business processes, translate requirements into functional designs and drive end‑to‑end Odoo implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather functional requirements and analyse business processes.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications and Odoo solution designs.
• Configure and implement Odoo modules such as Accounting & Finance, Sales & CRM, Purchase, Inventory & Warehouse, Manufacturing (MRP) and Project Management.
• Support the full ERP implementation lifecycle: requirement analysis, system configuration, testing, data migration, go‑live and post‑implementation support.
• Collaborate with technical developers to define customisations, integrations and ensure proper system development.
• Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation.
• Provide user training, documentation and change‑management support.
• Assist customers in business process optimisation using Odoo best practices.
• Handle data migration and integration with external systems (e‑commerce, POS, payment gateways, third‑party applications).
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, workflows and training materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, IT or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in ERP functional consulting, preferably with Odoo implementations.
• Strong knowledge of finance, sales, procurement, inventory and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with functional teams, developers and project managers.

Required skills

• Odoo ERP (Enterprise) configuration and module implementation.
• Understanding of Odoo architecture, customization concepts and APIs.
• REST API integration with third‑party systems.
• Data migration planning and execution.
• Business process modelling (BPMN / workflow design).
• Agile or structured ERP implementation methodologies.
