ERP Functional Consultant - Odoo

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ERP Functional Consultant to lead Odoo implementations for our clients. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to analyse business processes, design solutions and ensure successful adoption of Odoo modules.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and Odoo solution designs.
• Configure and implement Odoo modules such as Accounting & Finance, Sales & CRM, Purchase, Inventory & Warehouse, Manufacturing (MRP) and Project Management.
• Support the full ERP implementation lifecycle: analysis, configuration, testing, data migration, go‑live and post‑implementation support.
• Collaborate with technical developers to define customisations and integrations.
• Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing and validation.
• Provide user training, documentation and change‑management support.
• Assist customers in process optimisation using Odoo best practices.
• Handle data migration and integration with external systems (e‑commerce, POS, payment gateways, third‑party apps).
• Maintain project documentation, functional specifications, workflows and training materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, IT or related field.
• 2‑5+ years of ERP functional consulting experience, preferably with Odoo implementations.
• Strong knowledge of finance, sales, procurement, inventory and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in full ERP implementation cycles and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Required skills

• Odoo (Enterprise) configuration and module implementation.
• Odoo architecture, customization concepts and API integration (REST).
• Data migration and ERP system deployment.
• Agile or structured ERP implementation methodologies.
• Odoo certification (advantageous) and finance/accounting knowledge.
