Environment, Health and Safety Manager

About the role

The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will be based on‑site in Mayangone and will lead the development, implementation and maintenance of EHS policies across Q‑First’s diverse operations. This full‑time position ensures regulatory compliance, promotes a safe workplace, and drives continuous improvement in environmental performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures and programs.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and inspections.
• Lead accident and incident investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and oversee corrective actions.
• Coordinate occupational health initiatives, including ergonomics and health monitoring.
• Design, deliver and evaluate EHS training for all employee groups.
• Monitor relevant laws and standards, prepare performance reports and metrics.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to embed a proactive safety culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or related field.
• Professional EHS certifications (preferred).
• Proven experience in EHS management within industrial, facilities services or multi‑site environments.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
• Experience with accident investigation and root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to design and deliver effective EHS training programs.
