Environment, Health and Safety Manager

About the role

The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will be based on‑site in Mayangone and will lead the development, implementation and maintenance of EHS policies and programmes across the Q‑First Group of Companies. This full‑time position ensures regulatory compliance and promotes a safe, healthy working environment for all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures and programmes.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and inspections.
• Lead accident and incident investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and oversee corrective actions.
• Coordinate occupational health initiatives, including ergonomics and health monitoring.
• Design, deliver and evaluate EHS training for diverse employee groups.
• Monitor relevant laws, standards and industry best practices.
• Prepare reports and metrics on EHS performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of environment, health and safety management systems.
• Experience in occupational health, workplace risk assessments and ergonomics.
• Proven track record in accident investigation, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action planning.
• Ability to design, deliver and evaluate EHS training programmes.
• Familiarity with relevant EHS regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or related field; professional EHS certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience managing EHS in industrial, facilities services or multi‑site operations.
