Electrical Maintenance Technician / Senior Technician

About the role

The position is responsible for planning, scheduling and executing corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical plant equipment. The role works closely with operations teams to prioritize work, manage spares and allocate resources while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
• Liaise with operations, prioritize jobs, manage spares and allocate resources.
• Implement proactive initiatives such as predictive and preventive maintenance, failure finding and redesign.
• Maintain risk registers, conduct safety walk‑downs and promote safety initiatives.
• Develop maintenance procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for plant equipment.
• Support maintenance‑related projects to improve workflow and processes.
• Lead in‑house contractor management.
• Review spare parts, code items, handle SAP notifications and prepare PTW in SAP.
• Execute shutdown and scheduled maintenance activities smoothly and on time.
• Maintain awareness of HSE and process safety requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance planning and execution.
• Ability to coordinate with operations and prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of risk registers, safety walk‑downs and HSE practices.
• Experience developing maintenance procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
• Familiarity with statutory compliance for plant equipment.
• Experience managing in‑house contractors.
• Proficiency with SAP for spare‑part review, notification handling and PTW preparation.
• Understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
