Educational Consultant

About the role

The Educational Consultant will drive student enrollment for Kings Yangon International School by guiding families through the admissions process, advising on curriculum pathways, and ensuring a smooth transition from inquiry to enrollment. This role combines sales acumen with deep knowledge of the British education system to meet enrollment targets while upholding the school’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full enrollment pipeline, from initial inquiry to final enrollment, and achieve monthly student enrollment targets.
• Conduct consultations with parents and students, providing advice on academic progress, curriculum options (Early Years, Primary, Secondary, IGCSE), and long‑term educational planning.
• Coordinate CEM assessment tests, recommend appropriate year‑group placements, and communicate outcomes to families.
• Stay current on British education developments, curriculum changes, and teaching methodologies.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Admissions teams to design outreach campaigns based on parent insights.
• Assist families in preparing and submitting accurate application documents.
• Oversee monthly student meal plans with Catering and Finance, handling dietary communications and billing inquiries.
• Maintain post‑enrollment relationships, turning satisfied families into brand advocates and referral sources.
• Conduct market analysis, provide strategic insights, and report inquiry data to the Head of Admissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with experience in guidance counselling, curriculum, or instruction.
• Upper‑intermediate or professional level English communication skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and sales‑target focus.
• Knowledge of the British education system, curricula, and admissions processes.
• Previous experience in education consultancy or a related field is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
