Director of Manufacturing – Beverage (Expat)

About the role

The Manufacturing Director, Beverage is the senior manufacturing leader for the Beverage Division of our client Group of Companies, accountable for end‑to‑end plant performance at the beverage manufacturing facility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the manufacturing strategy covering capacity, capability, technology, cost and quality across all beverage production lines.
• Direct day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, ensuring production plans meet volume, mix and service‑level targets.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP and Myanmar FDA and export‑market regulations.
• Lead the plant’s safety agenda, targeting zero harm and driving proactive safety behaviours.
• Deploy Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Six Sigma to improve OEE, yield and line efficiency.
• Own the plant’s manufacturing P&L, budgeting, capital expenditure planning and delivery of new lines and automation.
• Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain Planning and Logistics to secure raw material supply and optimise inventory.
• Build, coach and lead a strong plant leadership team, implementing capability‑building programmes for operators and managers.
• Drive the plant’s contribution to sustainability goals such as water stewardship, energy efficiency and packaging reduction.
• Represent manufacturing in the S&OP process and provide performance reporting to senior group leadership.
