Design & Sales Engineer

About the role

The Design & Sales Engineer will create solar panel mounting structures for both rooftop and ground‑mounted PV projects while supporting the sales team with technical expertise. You will ensure designs are safe, cost‑effective, and aligned with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design solar mounting structures, produce layouts, detailed drawings, and installation plans.
• Coordinate with electrical and design teams to guarantee system compatibility.
• Update designs based on site conditions, customer needs, and project changes.
• Provide technical support during quotation preparation, create proposals, specifications, and explain solutions to customers.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, project, and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections when required and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in solar structure design, steel structure design, or similar engineering work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and layout design.
• Familiarity with PVsyst, Helioscope, or comparable solar PV design software.
