About the role
Première Urgence Internationale is seeking a dynamic Country Director to lead its mission in Myanmar from Yangon. The role combines strategic leadership, programme oversight, and representation to ensure effective humanitarian response.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of the mission and staff.
- Coordinate programme teams, monitor implementation, and identify new operational opportunities.
- Oversee human‑resource functions, including staffing, performance management, and team supervision.
- Manage logistical, administrative and financial processes in line with PUI and donor requirements.
- Guarantee medical and technical compliance with PUI policies and operational frameworks.
- Represent PUI with partners, donors, media, and authorities.
- Facilitate communication between headquarters and the field, ensuring timely reporting.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent in humanitarian action, project management, a technical sector, HR, finance or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with international NGOs in project coordination, team management, and security management.
- Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage the full project cycle.
