Content Producer National Consultant – Multimedia

About the role

The Content Producer National Consultant will provide video production services for UNICEF Myanmar. The role focuses on documenting programme impact and creating compelling, platform‑ready stories that illustrate the experiences of children and families affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Key responsibilities

• Travel across Myanmar, including remote areas, to capture field footage and conduct interviews.
• Plan, film, edit and post‑produce video content that meets UNICEF’s quality standards.
• Apply colour grading, subtitling and sound editing to produce polished final products.
• Ensure all content is child‑rights‑focused and aligns with UNICEF communication strategies.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Communications, Journalism, Film/Video Production, Visual Arts or related field, or secondary education with at least five years relevant experience.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in content production, including video filming, editing and post‑production.
• At least three years of field experience producing content for development, humanitarian or child‑rights programmes.
• Myanmar national, able to travel on short notice to remote locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with professional video‑editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro.
• Experience in colour grading, subtitling and sound editing.
• Ability to conduct field interviews and craft human‑centred narratives.
