Community and Event Support

About the role

Impact Hub Yangon is looking for a motivated Community and Event Support professional to help amplify its communication efforts and strengthen its entrepreneurial ecosystem. You will work closely with the Communications Team Leader to create engaging content, grow the Hub’s online presence, and support a variety of events and workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating written and visual content for the website, social media channels, newsletters, and other communication platforms.
• Manage and grow social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and email newsletters, engaging with community members.
• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of events, workshops, and community activities.
• Handle event logistics, including venue preparation, participant registration, invitations, attendance tracking, and material preparation.
• Provide on‑site assistance during events, such as registration, participant support, and venue setup.
• Capture event media (photos, short videos, interviews) and help produce post‑event recaps and documentation.
• Monitor and report on the performance of communication campaigns and social media activities.
• Stay updated on digital marketing trends to ensure innovative communication strategies.

Required profile

• Strong interest in entrepreneurship, community building, and social impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Team player who can collaborate with program, communications, and event teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and email marketing tools.
• Basic content creation skills for web and social media (text, images, simple video).
