Business Development & Strategy Manager – Multi‑Sector Expansion

About the role

The Business Development & Strategy Manager will drive high‑impact new business ventures and multi‑sector expansion for a diversified group of companies in Myanmar. Reporting to senior management, the role covers identification, assessment and execution of investment, joint‑venture and partnership opportunities across agriculture, logistics, mining, healthcare, real estate and power.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business, investment, joint‑venture and partnership opportunities across multiple sectors.
• Prepare business cases, investment proposals, financial models and management presentations.
• Coordinate due diligence, Investment Committee submissions and obtain regulatory approvals.
• Engage partners and advisers, support commercial negotiations and manage cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Ensure approved ventures are commercially viable and ready for implementation.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field; MBA or CFA advantageous.
• 7–10 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, investment or project development.
• Experience in at least one of the sectors: agriculture, logistics, mining, healthcare, real estate or power.
• Strong commercial judgment, analytical ability and executive presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Myanmar’s regulatory environment and experience engaging government stakeholders is a plus.
