Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager – Hotel

About the role

The Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager will support the hotel’s growth by developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive occupancy, revenue, and market share. Working closely with the senior management team, you will help shape the hotel’s brand presence and build strong relationships with corporate, government, travel, and event clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales & marketing plans aligned with the hotel’s business objectives.
• Set performance targets for the sales team and monitor achievement across assigned market segments.
• Identify new business opportunities and manage corporate contracts, group bookings, and promotional packages.
• Conduct regular sales visits, client meetings, and negotiations for major corporate deals.
• Lead, train, and evaluate sales personnel to ensure productivity and service excellence.
• Oversee sales‑related invoicing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including social media, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
• Track and analyze the performance of sales and marketing activities, adjusting tactics to maximize ROI.
• Manage the sales & marketing budget and monitor competitor activities and market trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with a diploma in Sales & Marketing or Business Management.
• 3‑5 years of sales and marketing management experience in the hotel industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer‑focus skills.
• Strong personal attitude, professionalism, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Accurate reporting and ability to follow management guidelines.
