Assistant Manager – Sales Performance

About the role

Prudential is seeking a strategic leader to drive sales performance excellence across its bancassurance channels. The role will partner with Distribution, Finance, Product and Technology teams to ensure transparent, data‑driven sales execution and commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Department by monitoring sales against targets, preparing dashboards and performance reports for business reviews.
• Lead development of advanced analytics models, manage enterprise‑level dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) and ensure data integrity across internal and partner systems.
• Design and govern commission and incentive frameworks, run simulations and collaborate with HR, Finance and Compliance for transparent calculations.
• Act as liaison between Sales, Finance, Technology, Compliance and Product teams, aligning goals and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement performance management routines, prepare sales communication and training materials, and promote a data‑driven culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science or related field; MBA or master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales performance, analytics or strategic planning, preferably in insurance or banking.
• Deep understanding of bancassurance distribution models, life‑insurance products and financial compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to work on cross‑functional projects and drive performance transformation.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, SQL and Excel.
• Knowledge of Python or R for statistical modelling.
• Experience with CRM and incentive automation systems (e.g., Salesforce, TCS BaNCS).
