Assistant Manager – Balance Sheet Management

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support the daily monitoring and strategic analysis of our balance sheet. The role focuses on liquidity, funding requirements, and the overall health of the bank's assets and liabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly liquidity positions, cash balances and funding needs.
• Analyse the balance sheet structure, including assets, liabilities, funding mix and maturity profiles.
• Prepare regular reports on liquidity, interest‑rate risk, capital and other balance‑sheet indicators.
• Develop, maintain and enhance financial models, dashboards and management information tools.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Finance, Risk Management, branches and other departments to gather data and support balance‑sheet activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation, working papers and supporting analysis for internal and regulatory review.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to departmental projects, system enhancements and policy updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in balance‑sheet management, ALM, Treasury, liquidity or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for collaboration with internal stakeholders.
