Actuarial Manager

About the role

The Actuarial Manager will lead financial analysis, valuation, pricing and reporting activities, ensuring accurate actuarial outputs that support business decisions and regulatory compliance. This senior position involves managing and mentoring the actuarial team, providing technical guidance, and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual actuarial valuations and review reserves and liability calculations.
• Present financial results and key drivers to senior management and lead audit and regulator engagements.
• Drive business planning, stress testing and capital management projections in collaboration with Finance and Channel teams.
• Review experience study results, recommend actuarial assumptions and monitor emerging risks.
• Oversee product pricing exercises, profitability analysis and ensure compliance with actuarial standards.
• Negotiate reinsurance treaties, manage renewals and optimise reinsurance structures.
• Lead Prophet implementation, model enhancements and automate reporting processes.
• Review solvency results, conduct stress testing and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners to support business initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven leadership and people‑management experience within an actuarial team.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with solid actuarial expertise.
