Accountant

About the role

SLOTS, a diversified real‑estate company, is looking for a full‑time Accountant to join its Yangon office. You will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, preparing statements and supporting budgeting while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries, maintain general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and assist with payroll calculations.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain organized financial records.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in financial statement preparation, budgeting and forecasting.
• Prior experience in real‑estate or property‑management accounting is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Excel.
• Experience using accounting software and financial reporting tools.
