Chief Operating Officer

About the role

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will lead the Company’s automotive manufacturing (SKD) and showroom network, translating strategic direction into operational plans and ensuring efficient production, sales, and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SKD manufacturing operations, including production planning, assembly, quality, and cost control.
• Develop and manage the showroom network, driving sales performance, customer experience, and operational standards.
• Oversee showroom expansion, evaluating locations, preparing business cases, and ensuring timely operational readiness.
• Convert strategic objectives into annual and quarterly operational plans with clear KPIs.
• Manage operational budgets, monitor costs, and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate supply chain activities to ensure component availability and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead a performance‑driven operations team, handling recruitment, training, and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Automotive, Operations or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of management experience in automotive/manufacturing, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven experience in SKD manufacturing, showroom operations, and business expansion.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent command of Myanmar and English; Chinese is a plus.
