Team Leader, ReSET Programme

About the role

The Team Leader for the ReSET Programme will join the Country Management Team in Myanmar, overseeing the design, implementation and quality of all programme activities. Reporting to the Country Director, this senior position ensures that projects deliver measurable impact and align with People in Need’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the Country Strategic Plan, work plan and programme reviews.
• Ensure programme design and delivery comply with People in Need policies, strategies and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain a Programme Risk Matrix tailored to the Myanmar context.
• Drive fundraising strategy and collaborate with the Funding Unit and Country Director.
• Strengthen partnerships with local civil society organisations and ensure localisation principles are applied.
• Oversee results‑based monitoring and evaluation systems and guide future programme strategy.
• Represent People in Need to donors and partners, highlighting thematic expertise and field experience.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in humanitarian or development programme management.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong understanding of results‑based M&E, risk management and fundraising in an NGO context.
• Excellent communication skills for donor and partner engagement.
